I am no longer running for State Senate. I am, however, still committed to working for my community. I appreciate all the support I have received, and hope that you all will still find my website useful to you and for our community.

I am a conservative Christian. I have been married for nearly 16 years to Paul. I am a proud mother and grandmother. My youngest is 19...and still at home so he can go to school.

I have always been passionate about politics...well, I won't say always. I would say I have been passionate about politics for nearly 20 years. But I have become more passionate and active in about the last 10-12 years.

The three main questions I ask about anything in politics are as follows:

1. Does it go against God in any way?
   I am by no means perfect. However, I try to live my life according to what God would want me to do. If there is something in politics that goes against what I believe God would want, I try to avoid it, or change it. I think that is what God would want me to do.
2. Does it follow the Constitution?
   The Constitution is the foundational word of law for our country. Anything that goes against our Constitution does not belong in our country. I swore an oath when I entered the US Army to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same. I do not believe that oath ended when I left the military.
3. Does it take away from the rights and responsibilities of the individual?
   What is liberty and freedom? Our pastor recently did a sermon about freedom and liberty. Of course, he was talking about our freedom and liberty as Christians...but I think the same principles can apply to us as citizens. We are free, and have liberty. But part of that freedom and liberty includes responsibilities. I think so many in America today are so willing to give up their rights so they do not have to have responsibilities. That is just not what this country is about. So, I will oppose anything that interferes with our rights or responsibilities.

I am a Ron Paul, Campaign for Liberty Patriot. 

I have been a Tea Party Patriot, but have to trim my activities and I've decided to stay with my true love and Campaign for Liberty.

I have a daughter working on her Master's Degree in Auburn and a son who is a

Senior in High School.  My son plays basketball and we are in the throes of the season and very busy.

I am taking a Basketball break from the every day Patriot planning and work, but will attend the events that make a difference to Liberty.

I am supporting all Campaign for Liberty Patriots running for office in 2010 and no others.
